Admit it, we always are thinking in terms of clichés...if I say Florida then you automatically are thinking of girls in bikinis, no? The chance you will come up with Zach/Ziskin is rather small I know but perhaps you do once you hear the album by this singer-songwriter. Zach/Ziskin makes on this album delicious pop that has both the intensity of Jeff Buckley and the poptouch of Suede. The sort of troubadour who wraps his songs into glam and what you get here is an album in where glorious alternative pop stands central...and no for those who are still hanging on those clichés, it's not about Baywatch-girls but the main pain factor in life : love... Give yourself to Zach/Ziskin and discover a brand new world that consists of some genius popmoments...one of my fave American albums at the moment!
